It is officially official. I'm getting married on June 12, 2010 and people are coming.
I sent out (the majority) of our invitations on Monday morning, and they've been getting rave reviews. I'm excited to have our wedding photographer photograph them in some pretty light on our wedding day, with a nice camera.
DIY invitations are labor of love. They were fun to design, and will be fun to look back on, but the countless hours I spent designing, proofing, prepping for print, sending to print, assembling, shopping for supplies - oh my, it felt endless! However, the fact that we spent $188 on printing leaves me feeling quite pleased, if I do say so myself. ;)
I can't believe I'm 50 days away from getting married. This is nuts. We have so many to-dos left, but yet I totally know everything that's supposed to get done, will get done.
I just can't be patient enough to finally be Mrs. Klasing. I want it to happen NOW! Yet, I love the waiting, the budding knowledge that it's right around the corner, the feeling of marital pregnancy I'm having is so overwhelming and so magical.

So many fiddly little details in doing wedding invitations aren't there?! I hope you were able to finally put your feet up and relax with a glass of wine afterwards!
